Ohio State Paranormal (OSP) was unofficially formed in 2006 by founders Ryan Wyse & Jeremy Weekly.  These two had been performing investigations for sometime, but had never officially formed until 2008 when they were pressured into forming a team by other interested individuals.  With the help of others who share their passion of the unknown, they seek out paranormal activity in an attempt to find the truth behind the events that others have.  OSP is based 20 miles southeast of Columbus, OH and serve clients all throughout the State of Ohio.  On certain cases where it may be deemed a high priority, OSP may travel outside Ohio into Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Indiana, and Michigan.  These cases would be where a family may be scared to stay in their home, a business owner may have difficulty keeping employees due to the activity, or where there are children involved.

Though OSP was created to seek out paranormal activity, we do not enter a location looking for it.  Sounds strange doesn't it?  What our organization does is enter a questionable location, listen to the claims of activity, and then attempt to find alternative forms of how this activity may have been created.  Since most of our organization is comprised of firefighters, both professional and volunteer, we have quite a bit of knowledge in building construction, mechanical equipment, etc.  This helps us in determining if something is truly paranormal or is created by another force.  We feel that if are unable to come up with any other form of cause for the disturbance, the possibility for paranormal activity is greater. 

Professionalism is an extremely important aspect of our organization and we strive very hard to maintain it.  OSP feels that if a client does not look upon us as a professional organization, this may deter one from calling upon us to assist them or others.  The main goal of any investigation is customer service.
